Build your knowledge base
Upload documents, import websites and organise them so your AI can use what your company knows.
Why it matters
Your knowledge base is what lets the AI sound like your company. Documents you add are used when the AI writes campaign messages and when it answers in Chat. Good inputs are your website, product sheets, case studies, pricing explanations and sales decks.
Add documents
- In the left sidebar open Knowledge. You see Recent Documents.
- Click the upload button, choose your files, then click Start Upload in the Upload Documents window.
- Each file can be up to 50 MB. Larger files are rejected with a message naming the file.
Supported file types include PDF, HTML and markdown files.
Import a website
- On the Knowledge page, click Import Website.
- Enter the URL (for example https://example.com) and optionally a Name.
- Click Import. A message says the import has started and should finish shortly. The pages appear as documents when done.
Check that a document worked
The Knowledge list shows each document's name, tags, size, format and when it was created. A Failed badge means the document could not be processed. Delete it and upload it again, or try another format. Click a document name to open it.
Organise with folders
In the Knowledge section of the sidebar, create a new folder with Create new Folder and rename or delete folders from the same menu. To put documents into a folder, select them on the Knowledge page and use the folder button.
Tag your documents
Tags help the AI focus on the right material.
- Open Settings, then Tags and click Create Tag. Give it a Name and an optional description.
- On the Knowledge page, select documents and use the tag button to assign tags.
- In Chat, type
/to focus the AI on specific tags or documents. See Chat with AI and set up agents.
Tags are shared across the space and are also used on leads and connections.
Download and delete
Select a document and use the actions menu for Download, Copy ID or Delete.
