Review, schedule and send messages

Pick a draft, schedule it or send it now, and decide how much of this the campaign does on its own.

From draft to sent

A lead moves through these stages on the campaign board:

  • Warmup: recently imported, not contacted yet.
  • Draft: the AI has written messages and they wait for your approval.
  • Scheduled: a message is queued and will be sent automatically.
  • Sent: the message was delivered and you are waiting for a reply.

Click any lead on the board to open it.

Review the drafts

  1. On the campaign board, open a lead in the Draft stage.
  2. You see the AI's message options. Read them and edit the text directly if you want to change anything.
  3. If a message refers to one of the lead's posts, the post is shown under the message.

Schedule a message

  1. On the message you like, click Schedule.
  2. The message is queued. Queued messages go out automatically in small batches through the day while your Companion app is connected, best-scored first, and are capped per day.
  3. To change your mind, click Unschedule on the same message. You can also move a scheduled lead back with Revert to Draft from the board's actions menu.

Send now

On a lead in the Draft stage, open the small arrow next to Schedule and choose Send Now. A Send Message window shows the message and a warning that sending cannot be cancelled. Check the box Continue with next prospect if you want to go straight to the next lead. Click send to confirm.

The window also shows a credit count next to the title. This is LinkedIn InMail credit use, not Atomic BI AI credits. Messaging someone who is not a connection and who does not have an open profile uses one InMail credit.

Let the campaign do it for you

Open Settings, then LinkedIn Accounts, pick your account and use the Draft Automation switches:

  • Auto Draft: the AI drafts messages automatically.
  • Auto Schedule: the AI schedules the best draft.
  • Auto Send: scheduled messages are sent automatically. Set Limit Per Day, and optionally turn on Send in Lead Timezone (only sends between 9am and 6pm in the recipient's timezone) and Skip Weekends.

Click Save Changes on that page.

The Warmup Automation group adds Auto Connect, which sends blank connection requests (with a Limit Per Day and Skip Weekends), and Auto Enrich, which keeps lead details fresh. Withdraw Automation can withdraw old pending connection requests after a number of days you choose.

Open and locked profiles

On the board, a lead marked Open Profile can be messaged without an InMail credit. A Locked Profile uses one InMail credit. The credit counter in the top bar (the envelope icon) shows what you have left.

Things to know

  • Nothing is sent while your Companion app is offline.
  • When a free open-profile allowance on your LinkedIn account runs out, Atomic BI asks you to confirm before it sends a paid InMail instead.
  • Moving many leads at once: select leads and use the actions menu, for example Generate first message, Revert to Warmup, Revert to Draft, Remove from campaign or Delete from database.
